Colegio Berchmans from Colombia wins bgreen’s 9th edition

The Colegio Berchmans from Colombia was the grand winner of the bgreen // ecological film festival’s 9th edition, an initiative from OFICINA – Professional School. With the video #StopPlasticPollution, which calls out to the way plastic is flooding our life. The grand winners will embark on an EcoAdventure Trip to the Azores.

With more than 450 national and international spots in competition, the bgreen Grand Gala took place at the Municipal Pavilion in Vila Nova de Famalicão. The Councilman for Education of the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, Leonel Rocha, highlighted the quality of the festival, as well as the commitment of thousands of youngsters towards environmental issues worldwide. The Municipal Pavilion in Vila Nova de Famalicão hosted more than a thousand people at the ceremony.

Besides the Bgreen Grand Prize, more awards were presented, namely: Father Alphonse Luisier award to Bwatch from OFICINA; The Bgreen Junior award to #projectstanart from St. Stanislaus High School – Mumbai, India; Best Making of to Blue Home, from Byåsen videregående skole – Trondheim, Norway; People’s Choice award to Human Failure, from Instituto Patria Tercer Milenio A.C – Mexico City, Mexico and the Honorable Mention award to Beneath the surface, Trondheim KatedralSkole – Trondheim, Norway.

The Bgreen Grand Gala was the pinnacle of a year’s work in which the motto Blue Home called out for the care of our planet. Did you know…
