Bgreen’s // ecological film festival 4th edition Award Ceremony will take place June 6th around 9 p.m. at Fábrica de Santo Thyrso in the city of Santo Tirso.
This is the culmination of a project that involved hundreds of youngsters and achieved its main goal: to raise awareness among young Europeans on environmental issues, not only via the social project but also through the participation of schools from several different countries such as Portugal, Norway, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Croatia.
In the course of the ceremony the grand winners will be revealed. These award recipients were selected by a jury consisting of 9 representatives of the following entities: Portuguese Environment Agency, Municipality of Santo Tirso, Municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, Azores Regional Government, Quercus, BES, Meed Brand, YouOn – Creativity and Technology, Jumpwilly production company and OFICINA – INA’s Professional School.
The jury is responsible for the attribution of the following awards:
· Bgreen // ecological film festival grand prize – An eco-trip to the Azores;
· Best Message;
· Honorable Mention;
· Best Making-Of;
· Alphonse Luisier Award.
People’s Choice award, as the name indicates, will be in the hands of the audience that will have the opportunity to follow the whole ceremony live through the official website www.bgreenfestival.com. Voting for this award will be held during the ceremony.
It will be a night full of surprises and performances by Cabaret Fortuna.
