In its 7th edition, Bgreen’s international award ceremony returns to Parque da Devesa in Vila Nova de Famalicão. As an award recipient in the category b-smart in the initiative Selos de Famalicão Visão 25, Bgreen is back on stage on June 2nd, at 21h30, to once more give voice to the environmental cause.
Under the theme The Glocal Effect: local action, global future, this year’s edition welcomes 82 international spots from 10 countries and 23 different schools as well as 230 spots from 35 national schools.
From Argentina, Mexico, Montenegro and Brazil to Croatia, France, Spain and Norway, many are the countries that will be present at the 7th edition. More than a thousand people are expected at Parque da devesa. The ceremony may also be viewed via this website as it will be broadcast live.
The international award ceremony is the culmination of an intense week, which will enable the interaction and exchange between national and foreign finalist delegations and includes a cultural program with visits to some of the region’s various points of interest and the fruition of workshops on the areas of sustainable development, global citizenship, communication and audiovisual.
This year’s edition stands out not only due to bgreen’s international growth but also because of the creation of the Bgreen Junior Category for 8th and 9th graders. On June 2nd the award recipients on the following categories will be unveiled: Bgreen Grand Prize, Bgreen Junior, Honorable Mention, Best Making-of, People’s Choice and Alphonse Luisier awards.
This great award ceremony is free of entry and will feature music, with the presence of ARTAVE, dance and multimedia projection.
